This promo runs throughout the weekend, so you will have a few bites at the Grand Slam Jackpot apple. Here is how it works:
Bet at least $10 on any single player to hit a home run this weekend (must be at least +100). If that player happens to hit a grand slam on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you will be eligible to receive a share of the $50,000 bonus bet prize!
If you are the only person to bet on a hitter who hits a home run with the sacks packed, you’ll take home the whole thing yourself. Otherwise, you will split the $50,000 with your fellow winners.
There are some further and conditions for this promotion that you need to note:
Keep in mind that only the first home run bet you make this weekend will count towards the promo. In other words, you can’t load up on home run bets to spread your wild oats, if you will.
Additionally, a winning home run bet will only qualify for the BetMGM Grand Slam Jackpot if it is placed on the game where the grand slam was hit. If you bet a player to hit a home run on Friday and he hits a grand slam on Sunday, you will not be eligible for a share of the $50,000.

Best BetMGM Home Run Pick for Sunday
We want the best chance we can of getting at least a share of $50,000, so we’re going to turn to the OddsShopper MLB model to see which home run bet has the highest expected win rate. Luckily for us, the guy who pops up at the top of the list is Kyle Schwarber, who is playing in the Sunday Night Baseball game and has a massive 30% chance of going deep tonight. Unluckily, however, this bet is -EV on its own due to the +195 odds.
There actually is not a +EV home run bet on BetMGM right now according to our MLB model — the highest EV is Julio Rodriguez at -7.6% and +400 odds. Schwarber is only a few percentage points below that, though, so it’s worth a stab given we are calculating him at almost a third of a chance to go deep.
Teammate Bryce Harper has the next-best win rate, and he’s down at 24% (though this play is a bit better EV-wise and the odds are more palatable at +275). All in all, given how popular Schwarber is likely to be — and thus will force you to split the $50,000 with more people — Harper may be the slightly better option. But my recommendation is going with the best win rate when it’s 6 percentage points higher than second place.
