Rain and wind are projected to be in the forecast on Christmas Day in Missouri. That isn’t going to stop Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce from connecting all game long against their division rival, the Las Vegas Raiders.
Kelce’s receptions are juiced for good reason: He loves playing against the Raiders. He’s reeled in at least six catches in seven of his last eight games against the Raiders, which dates back to 2020. No matter the score, these two teams play each other tough. Kansas City comes in as a 10.5-point favorite but will be without Jerick McKinnon — who is a big part of this offense — and Kadarius Toney — who has struggled, to say the least. The Chiefs are returning Isiah Pacheco to the lineup after he missed the last two weeks, so we’ll have to wait and see what his volume is like out of the backfield.
We’re taking on some vig for this Kelce player prop, but plenty of books besides FanDuel have this prop priced to where it’s unplayable. As you can see from OddsShopper’s tools, DraftKings and BetMGM have this prop set up to -150, while FanDuel is still in a playable range at -136.
Don’t let a 10.5-point spread scare you away from backing any Kelce or Mahomes props. I project Mahomes to sling the ball across the field a ton like he has all season long. He’s attempting over 37 es a game. Last week New England’s defense kept the the game in reach so that Mahomes had to continue to throw, and I expect much of the same this week, as Kelce is one of the few -catchers Mahomes trusts in this sluggish offense. Expect plenty of balls to go Kelce’s way, as he has sured this line in nine of 13 games this season.

Raiders-Chiefs Anytime Touchdown Scorer Pick
I’m attacking the Raiders side of the offense due to the Chiefs -catcher and running back touchdown odds being non-friendly. The best odds for Kelce to score a touchdown is +130 on Caesars if that interests you, but I’m backing Davante Adams as the top Raiders-Chiefs anytime touchdown scorer for Monday.
The connection between Adams and Aidan O’Connell continues to be a work in progress. In his last five games with O’Connell under center, Adams has been targeted at least 10 times in four games. Meanwhile, his receptions of 5.5 is juiced to the over. The books expect Adams to see significant volume, especially if the game script goes how many expect.
The targets in the end zone aren’t where I’d like them to be. Adams’ four targets inside the 20 in the last five weeks rank outside the top 30, but his threat of catching a long ball outside the 20 is deadly. On Sunday Night Football earlier this season, Adams reeled in two touchdowns of over 20 yards. At odds of +240 on FanDuel — the best price you’ll find Adams to score a touchdown — he’s an easy option on Christmas.
