PrizePicks NFL Season Long Plays: Jalen Hurts Bounce Back, Malik Nabers Breakout & More

Updated August 13, 2024 | 9:02 am CDT by Eytan Shander

As we approach the NFL season, it’s hard to keep up with the barrage of player projections. Be it the preseason or regular season, there are hundreds of plays already up on the board — including season-long plays. We found four plays with solid value ahead of the year; these can be molded into a Flex or Power Play at PrizePicks as we look to jump on some favorable numbers. There’s plenty of uncertainty with new players and personnel, especially when fading the projection. Here are the four best PrizePicks NFL season plays for 2024.

As you make your NFL PrizePicks, be sure to utilize OddsShopper’s PrizePicks NFL promo code is an excellent boost for your bankroll.

PrizePicks NFL Season Long Plays 2024: Jalen Hurts & More

If you’re interested in Sleeper — both offer excellent options for NFL pick’em in 2024.

Jalen Hurts M/L 3,599.5 ing Yards

The Philadelphia Eagles have a new offensive coordinator in Kellen Moore, clearing the way for him to run the offense. Nick Sirianni is no longer mixing his hands in the weekly stew, and both Moore and Jalen Hurts should immediately benefit. The idea is Moore comes over with a more open attack, asking defenses to cover receivers on multiple levels each play. The concept becomes even more enticing with variables like running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Dallas Goedert.

Hurts has seen a constant shift of offensive coordinators year by year, but this one should be at the top. We saw Hurts shine under the game planning of Shane Steichen but struggle last year with the Brian Johnson-Sirianni hodgepodge. These were two completely different means to the same end, as Hurts cleared this number in each of the last two years. That’s important because Moore should be infinitely better than the brutal combination of last year’s staff, while the Eagles boast a bunch of highly skilled players around Hurts.

We expect the Eagles to throw a bunch this year, and Hurts can finally hit 4,000 on the season.

PrizePicks NFL Season Play: Jalen Hurts More Than 3,599.5 ing Yards

Malik Nabers M/L 849.5 Receiving Yards

There is plenty of understandable hope behind young rookie Malik Nabers in New York. If Nabers clears 850 yards, it will be the best Giants receiving season of the past few years. No leading receiver hit that yardage mark since 2018 when Odell Beckham Jr. went over 1,000 yards. So not only does Nabers need to figure this thing out as a rookie receiver, but he also has to be the best wideout on a team that desperately needs help. Not to mention, he has Daniel Jones throwing the football. The hardest adjustment for any rookie receiver is the speed in coverage; Nabers is a talent, but there’s a period of acclimating to the pro game.

Darius Slayton benefited the most from the Giants shift in offense, albeit lasting a single season. The team lost a key player in Barkley and has fewer ways to take off pressure from Jones. The biggest culprit in keeping Nabers from hitting 850 receiving yards is who is throwing him the ball. It’s simply impossible to bank on Jones being the reason someone else has any success, let alone him. Tyrod Taylor was better last year, and Jones struggled to hit 3,000 ing yards in two of the four previous seasons.

Nabers averaged over 17 yards per catch in his final year at LSU. He’s going to need to volume and that similar level of production just to sniff 800 yards.

PrizePicks NFL Season Play: Malik Nabers Less Than 849.5 Receiving Yards

Jonathan Taylor M/L 999.5 Rushing Yards

Just stay healthy, young man. At 25 years old, Jonathan Taylor is poised for another strong season pending he’s on the field. Taylor played 10 games last year, 11 the year before. Without those extra games in a longer season, he was held below the 1,000 mark. It appears, based off the first two years, that Taylor’s baseline is 15 games, as he finished with 1,169 in his rookie year, followed by a full season with 1,811 yards. If he’s healthy, he’s playing and crushing this number.

This might be one of the few season-long picks that is simply based on the player’s health. With Anthony Richardson healthy and a beefed-up defense, the Colts are looking to make a run. Listening to general manager Chris Ballard on Sirius/XM at Colts training camp, and you can hear the excitement in how head coach Shane Steichen plans to open up even more rushing lanes for Taylor. The offense runs through one of the league’s top backs so long as he’s available.

This is a buy-low projection for a young back that just missed time but was still on track to break 1,000 yards.

Cairo Santos 28.5 Field Goals Made

The Bears beefed up their offense by adding Caleb Williams, D’Andre Swift, Keenan Allen and Rome Odunze. The team should at the very least be able to move the ball better down field than previous seasons, especially with the addition of former Seahawks offensive coordinator Shane Waldron. Yet it’s still playing football in Chicago, which seems to be difficult for pretty much any quarterback. We expect growing pains for a team with huge expectations but not quite the level of pro-ready talent. Individually, sure, this is a group that should stand out on the depth chart, but putting it together has been a struggle for Matt Eberflus.

Enter Cairo Santos. The Bears kicker had a smash of a season, connecting on 35 of 38 field goals as the Bears struggled to cross the end zone. Some may look at the new talent as an automatic transition to more scoring in the end zone, but it’s actually the opposite. With the Bears able to move the ball better between the 20s and a kicker who had such a reliable season last year — and in a league where wins come at a — Santos will be a factor. The Bears will be in games so long as they can put some points on the board, and settling for field goals with a legit kicker is a sound strategy.

We like Santos to continue another big-leg season and crush this PrizePicks number.
