Jaren Hall Prop O/U 25.5 Rushing Yards

For Sunday’s nightcap game, we’re targeting rookie quarterback Jaren Hall, who gets the starting nod over Nick Mullens and Joshua Dobbs, as they both failed to perform lately. If you’re looking for a parlay in Vikings-Packers, check it out!

If you don’t know Hall, which many don’t, I’ll do the work for you. Hall is a fifth-round rookie quarterback out of BYU who showcased his legs in college. He rushed for over 700 yards in his career and ran running a 4.6 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine. I have zero doubt that play-caller Kevin O’Connell will put Hall in the best position to win, which means a few designed runs. 

The Packers have been known to get shredded in the run game to mobile quarterbacks. Bryce Young ran for only 17 yards last week, but Tommy DeVito ran the ball 10 times for 71 yards before that, and Patrick Mahomes also went over his rushing line earlier in the month.

FanDuel is offering the over of 25.5 rushing yards at 2 fewer yards than the competition. Those 2 yards could come into play if Hall finds himself kneeling to end the game and losing yards.

Hall played just 11 snaps in his first career start but took off twice for 11 yards before sustaining a concussion while trying to score a touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons. He has the tools to crush this player prop bet and potentially sur his ladder yards if you want to get crazy.

For a guy who has scored in five of his last six games, that’s excellent value.

Many have concerns with Reed after he was limited at practice all week, but have no fear: He’s not listed on the final injury report. He’ll be a full go as Jordan Love’s favorite target and should get even more looks, with  Christian Watson doubtful to suit up tonight. Look for most of the attention to be on Aaron Jones in the red zone, after running for over 120 yards last week.
