Broncos-Dolphins Anytime Touchdown Bet

With Jaylen Waddle already ruled out, the Miami Dolphins are down to Tyreek Hill and a bunch of other small, speedy receivers. But if you think you’re going to get good odds on River Cracraft (+260 at FanDuel) or Braxton Berrios (+260 at FanDuel), you’re not. Just eat the chalk and buy Hill at -110 (52.4%) at FanDuel — it’s not a great number, but it’s a much better one than you’ll find elsewhere on the market.
Waddle’s absence means far more targets for Hill. It will also probably mean more defensive attention, but defensive coordinator Vic Fangio has been hesitant to use star cornerback Pat Surtain II in shadow coverage. Surtain only shadowed Davante Adams for 64% of his snaps and Terry McLaurin for 31.7%. Further, even if Surtain ends up shadowing him on a larger share of snaps, Hill has an advantage when it comes to raw speed.
Hill has already reeled in three touchdowns, and he dominates Miami’s share of red-zone targets. He has drawn 55.6% of Tua Tagovailoa’s red-zone throws this year. He drew 14.5% of his red-zone targets last year, but the leader in red-zone target share, tight end Mike Gesicki, departed in free agency. Hill has a better chance of scoring than the odds at FanDuel reflect, so lock this one before the number disappears.

Chargers-Vikings Anytime Touchdown Bet

Who: Keenan Allen at FanDuel
The Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings will square off in the game with the slate’s highest total — a monstrous 54. The books expect plenty of points from both sides, as the spread sits at a single point. That should mean a few scoring chances for Keenan Allen. Allen has drawn a whopping 28.6% of the red-zone targets from Justin Herbert. He drew 15.6% last year despite missing almost half the season, trailing only Austin Ekeler, who is out.
The Chargers should move the ball easily against Minnesota’s defense. The Vikings rank only 19th in expected points added (EPA) per play. They have coughed up 295 receiving yards and three scores to wideouts. Minnesota’s defense lacks depth in the trenches after losing nose tackle Dalvin Tomlinson, which should help the Chargers engineer plenty of drives that get to the red zone.
You’ll find Allen listed at odds of +135 (42.6%) at FanDuel to score a touchdown. I’d probably set the line a little closer to even because of how we’ve seen Herbert distribute the ball close to the goal line. Allen has been Herbert’s security blanket in short-yardage situations for a while, and I don’t see anyone on Minnesota’s defense who can stop him.

Colts-Ravens Anytime Touchdown Bet

Who: Gus Edwards at Caesars
The Ravens will need to fill Justice Hill’s red zone work with him being out for this game against the Colts. Hill’s eight red zone carries are the third most in the league, and Lamar Jackson has just one carry inside the 20. Are the Ravens being cautious after g Jackson to a 260-million-dollar contract? Possibly. So, who steps up for the Ravens and fills the shoes of Hill? Gus Edwards is the answer.
Let it be known that the Ravens elevated two veteran backs for this game, Kenyan Drake and Melvin Gordon. The two could steal work from Edwards on short-line opportunities, but this seems precautious if something happens to Edwards, who looked great last week. He carried the ball 10 times for 63 yards and a goal-line touchdown to open the scoring.
The game script reads an Edwards masterclass. The Colts will be without star rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson, who is out with a concussion. The Ravens are currently 8-point favorites with Edwards’ rushing line set at 46.5 on DraftKings. The expectation is for the Ravens to run the ball a ton against a Colts defense that has limited running backs through the first two weeks but allowed two rushing touchdowns in Week 1 to the Jacksonville Jaguars. With Jackson as an RPO threat, look for the Colts to take that away in the red zone, which will open up a lane for Edwards.
Caesars Sportsbook is the only major book with this anytime touchdown prop at plus money. This is as high as -135 on FanDuel and -150 on BetMGM. At +105 on Caesars, Edwards is a great value bet to find the endzone for the second straight game.
