Xavier Worthy
We are taking two guys, one from each game, and building a quick two leg. We start with Xavier Worthy who should thrive against this Texans defense. While the Chiefs offense hasn’t looked as sharp in years prior, they are still moving the ball and Worthy has stepped in as a target magnet, not just a big play receiver. The increased targets for Travis Kelce might take away from other players but Worthy will get the benefit of some solo coverage, and has Patrick Mahomes throwing the ball.
Let’s start by taking him to score, any time – any way, as it could come from an end around, long bomb, or WR screen. The many ways in which Worthy is implemented make him a desirable choice to score. Mahomes loves to target him, too. We combine that with his receiving yards, setting it at an alt of 50+ yards. He has big play capability and has seen double digit targets in three of his last four games. Worthy is going to be a massive chess piece for the Chiefs against Houston.

Austin Ekeler
Things seem to tighten up in the playoffs, especially for a rookie QB. Add the element of a road game, and it’s increasingly difficult. These youngsters are just 5-16 outright on the post season road. The focus on Jaden Daniels this week seems to correlate those historic struggles with more rushing yards for Daniels. The under appreciated area, or lack of focus, is on Austin Ekeler who provides a massive safety valve for Daniels. If anything, the Commanders should be playing from a negative or near neutral game script – causing some quicker throws to Ekeler than chances down field to Terry McLaurin.
Our first Ekeler play is to score a TD, much like with Worthy, Ekeler has multiple shots at scoring. He can do it in the air or on the ground and is a red zone opportunist out of the backfield. We can combine that with 3 receptions to get us to +375 on the SGP. He already saw an increase in targets last weekend and only stands to see more against the Lions defense. He also doesn’t need high volume of targets to maximize his receptions. Expect to hear a lot of Ekeler’s name tonight in Detroit.
