The win is Fowler’s first of 2023, as he surges back into the conversation as one of the TOUR’s top golfers.

Rickie Fowler stole the spotlight from Collin Morikawa in Sunday’s playoff, but he is currently eclipsed by him on the Open Championship odds board. Fowler is +2500 compared to Morikawa at +2200. The 25:1 number for Fowler may come as a surprise to PGA bettors who haven’t paid attention to Rickie’s play this season. He has turned his career around and returned to top form. Shane Lowry, Patrick Cantlay and Tommy Fleetwood are also +2500 to win the tournament, while the Open Championship odds are 28:1 on Tyrell Hatton, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Dustin Johnson.

The top of The Open Championship oddsboard is dominated by three golfers; Rory McIlroy at +750 and Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm at +750. McIlroy’s odds are not only strengthened by his recent form, but also his familiarity with the course in his home country.
