Despite often playing from behind, Pollard has been efficient with his opportunities, averaging 4.3 yards per carry. While he has only four touchdowns on the season, this matchup presents a prime opportunity to add to that total.
The Jaguars are giving up over one rushing touchdown per game to opposing running backs. If the Titans control the game as the point spread suggests, they’ll likely lean on their ground attack, with Pollard as the focal point. This game script should provide him with plenty of chances, particularly in the red zone.

This might be the last ticket I buy on the Trey McBride anytime touchdown ride. Despite leading his team in red-zone targets (12), he’s still searching for his first score of the season.
The matchup is promising: the Seattle Seahawks are giving up six receptions and 57 receiving yards per game to opposing tight ends. Just two weeks ago, McBride dominated this same defense with 12 receptions on 15 targets for 133 yards. However, Kyler Murray missed multiple golden opportunities to connect with McBride for a touchdown.
This feels like the week McBride finally breaks through. His odds have already shortened at some books, dropping from as high as +220 to +180. At 2/1, it’s worth one last shot on arguably the most overdue touchdown scorer in the NFL.
