Much has changed with this game between the Texans and Jets, from the start of the season through this week. Gone are both Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins — both out with season-lasting injury. Also missing is hope that the New York Jets can salvage a season, as it may have already been lost with a loss to the Patriots. The current circumstances open value for us across both sides, specifically with each quarterback. C.J. Stroud and Aaron Rodgers will play huge roles on Thursday night. C.J. Stroud M/L Than 225.5 ing Yards
You’ve probably come across the term “buy low” often in the pick’em world. Depending on how many other markets you frequent, there’s a strong chance it’s been heard there. This is a textbook definition of a buy low spot but even lower because of the matchup.
There’s no arguing around Stroud being down his top two threats. Both Diggs and Collins are more than just field stretching threats down field — they can score. Much of the (over) reaction to Stroud losing these two targets is the Texans won’t be able to score, therefore they won’t be able to throw. As illogical as that may be, it’s backed by a Jets team that’s limiting the air game.
But the Texans will move the ball outside of just Joe Mixon on the ground. Stroud has weapons like Tank Dell and Dalton Schultz — even Mixon being good for 25 to 30 receiving yards. The Texans aren’t going to forget how to throw the ball, nor will they forget that they have one of the more talented quarterbacks in the league. Stroud can topple 225.5 yards by moving the ball in the air from 20 to 20. Anything inside the red zone is a bonus. The Jets will make it hard, but tougher to go down field more than anything else.
We aren’t looking for bombs or deep throws — rather just Stroud moving the ball in short bursts. While improved, the Jets still are a liability on the ground. The Texans may show a lot of Mixon early to soften some coverage against their depleted receiving core. Stroud goes over his ing yards.

Aaron Rodgers M/L 21.5 ing Completions
The Jets have all these weapons, so Rodgers is going to throw the football. Another massive misconception leading people down the wrong path on Pick6 is completions equal yards. Once again, we can gain an edge to the field by taking advantage of what should be a smaller market with a popular player. With Davante Adams in town, the Jets should be looking to throw more, simply from an increase of talent around Rodgers. Garett Wilson remains a top threat on the team.
Then there’s Breece Hall, a dual threat who should eat up a few receptions against the Texans. The Jets have played lower-scoring games at home, averaging fewer than 30 points across each of their three games at MetLife. Rodgers is going to move the ball, similar to Stroud except even faster with quicker throws. The Texans make life tough for opposing quarterbacks, and Rodgers’ inability to move isn’t helping. Expect New York to ask Rodgers to get the ball out faster, resulting in quicker completions.
