People will pile on Pollard expecting he’s “due” despite a much more difficult pathway than Prescott in moving the ball downfield. The Niners may have an unblemished record, Purdy continues to win games, yet one of their big guns has been kept out of the end zone. It’s going to happen. The run game should bludgeon the Cowboys defense, actually softening some things up for the middle of the field. Kyle Shanahan is quick on the draw to exploit or set something up in game, so take George Kittle at a 13-1. This might be as good as it gets for a guy who is still the third on the team in receiving yards and still a favorable target of Purdy.
