When you want sports betting odds and information you can trust, there’s only one place you should turn to now — at least, according to the Associated Press. As of last week, FanDuel, who had been AP’s odds provider for three years.
This means that, any time you see game odds, betting trends or player props in an Associated Press article — game previews, news stories, etc. — BetMGM will be the source. For example, an AP article ahead of Celtics-Pacers Game 4 on Monday lists a few betting trends from the NBA Conference Finals:
- Overs have hit in all six games of the third round of the NBA playoffs.
- 84% of bets and 83% of handle was on the over for Sunday’s Timberwolves-Mavericks Game 3.
Those reports come from BetMGM.
It doesn’t seem that there was any falling out between BetMGM‘s explicit move to integrating its product with different spaces.
That said, AP will still have full editorial control over articles containing BetMGM data and betting information.
