UFC on ABC 5 might not be a pay-per-view, but it’s an exciting card featuring big name fighters and up and coming talent. The Ilia Topuria-Josh Emmett main event will cap off the evening. Topuria is 13-0 with four knockouts and eight submission victories. That’s a whopping 92% of his fights that have not gone to decision. His lone decision win came in October of 2020 over Youssef Zalal. Topuria’s most recent victories come over a host of solid fighters, including Bryce Mitchell and Jai Herbert. Josh Emmett will hope to have an answer for Topuria despite being a +270 underdog. He is 18-3 in his career, and coming off a lost in his last match Yair Rodriguez. Emmett lost that title bout by submission in the second round of the fight. He’ll now look to get back track against Topuria. One of the biggest factors on Emmett’s side will be his age and experience. At 38 years old, Emmett has twelve years on the 26-year old Topuria.
There is strong talent up and down the UFC on ABC 5 card.
