The Arizona Diamondbacks will start RHP Brandon Pfaadt (0-2) again. He started five games for the team in May and recorded an 8.37 ERA and 7.19 xERA, the seventh-worst performance in the metric among eligible pitchers.
Pfaadt has struggled against left-handed batters. As a minor-league pitcher this year, he has allowed a .989 OPS to lefties, giving up 21 extra-base hits and nine home runs in 157 plate appearances.
