The Phillies offense is starting to heat up. The talented lineup that many presumed to be the best in the National League has hit 11 home runs its their last six games. Trea Turner may have finally broken out, as he went yard twice last night, but Bryce Harper is the hitter to target to hit a home run.
Harper hasn’t lost a step since he had offseason surgery and missed the start of 2023. He’s only hit three home runs in 29 games, but he loves playing in Citizens Bank Park. He’s hitting .326 and an even-better .350 against righties in the last 30 days.
The Tigers will have a bullpen game, which means they’ll start with LHP Tyler Alexander as the opener and then move to RHP Garrett Hill and his 10.29 ERA. The Phillies are -190 on the moneyline, with many anticipating a Philadelphia offensive slaughter of the Tigers bullpen.
