In front of Bobrovsky is one of the league’s more underrated and deepest blue lines, as Florida ranks 13th in the league in xGA/60 at five-on-five. Plenty of goal is in order for the defense, and the Panthers rank second in the league in xGF/60 at five-on-five. It has been a tough few weeks for Florida, but a big reason for that was the absence of superstar centerman Aleksander Barkov, who is now back in the lineup.
The Panthers rank higher than the Rangers in both xGF/60 and xGA/60 at five-on-five. While New York certainly has the goaltending advantage assuming Igor Shesterkin is in net, Bobrovsky could keep up considering his recent form against the Rangers. Look for Florida to get back on track with Barkov back in the lineup on home ice.
