Some of the usual suspects remain atop the board to win this year's title. The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs, despite struggling against the South Carolina Gamecocks last week, are the favorite -- and their odds have even gotten shorter since the last time we checked in on these markets. They'll host the UAB Blazers next week before visiting the unranked Auburn Tigers, so their odds are unlikely to shift much anytime soon.
The No. 2 Michigan Wolverines have leapfrogged the now-No. 13 Alabama Crimson Tide for the second-best odds to win this year's title. The Wolverines haven't beaten anyone of note yet, but they've won each of their home games in dominant fashion, allowing only 16 total points over three weeks. Michigan will host the Rutgers Scarlet Knights this weekend.
The No. 3 Texas Longhorns are now tied with the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes for the third-best to win this year's title. Texas' big win over Alabama has thrust them into championship contention. Although the Longhorns played down to the Wyoming Cowboys this weekend, they eventually ran away with things late. They'll visit a struggling Baylor Bears team this weekend before hosting the Kansas Jayhawks next week.

Last year's Orange Bowl participants, the now-unranked Clemson Tigers and the No. 23 Tennessee Volunteers, have seen their odds plummet after bad losses in early conference play. The Tigers shockingly fell to the now-No. 18 Duke Blue Devils in Durham before struggling early against FCS Charleston Southern. Clemson will welcome the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles to Death Valley this weekend in a game with major consequences for both programs.
Meanwhile, Tennessee suffered a brutal loss to the now-No. 25 Florida Gators in Week 3 that swung the market meaningfully. The Volunteers had already looked pretty beatable against the Virginia Cavaliers and FCS Austin Peay Governors, and they failed to improve their play before last week's game against the Gators. They're now a massive longshot that would likely have to upset Georgia to sniff the playoff.
The Alabama Crimson Tide find themselves outside the top 10 in the AP Poll for the first time in eight years. Alabama's brutal loss to the No. 3 Texas Longhorns and subsequent ugly win over the USF Bulls have hurt their odds tremendously, dropping them below their SEC West rival, the No. 12 LSU Tigers. The Tide will host the No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels this weekend.

A few teams have shot up the oddsboard but are yet to enter favorite status. The No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish have looked borderline unbeatable with quarterback Sam Hartman at the helm thus far -- but they're also yet to play a ranked opponent. They'll get to host No. 6 Ohio State this weekend before visiting No. 18 Duke. These are a pair of make-or-break weeks for the Irish.
The No. 7 Penn State Nittany Lions have also seen their odds improve, albeit slightly. They haven't blown away preseason expectations early in the year, but they have taken care of business against the teams they should beat. They'll host the No. 24 Iowa Hawkeyes in a pivotal Big Ten matchup this weekend that will have serious implications for their title odds.
The now-No. 20 Miami Hurricanes scored a big win over the Texas A&M Aggies in Week 2, and they have looked great so far this season. Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke has excelled, even throwing for five touchdown es against A&M, but the Canes don't have another real test on their schedule until mid-October's matchup against the No. 17 UNC Tar Heels.
