Game 1 between the Timberwolves and Warriors tips off tonight in Minnesota, with the home team coming in well-rested after handling the Lakers in five games. Golden State, on the other hand, might be feeling the effects of a grueling seven-game battle against Houston.
Jimmy Butler has played efficiently since ing the Warriors, but his points prop looks a bit too aggressive tonight. His scoring can be hit or miss—especially with some lingering soreness—and this matchup isn’t ideal.
Minnesota’s defense is no joke, and Stokastic’s NBA DFS Projections have Butler landing at 21 points. This feels like a solid spot to back the under to start the series.

Donovan Mitchell H/L Than 3.5 3-Pointers Made
The Cavaliers are looking to bounce back after dropping Game 1 at home to the Pacers, and that starts with Donovan Mitchell.
He poured in 33 points in the series opener, but it still wasn’t enough to get the win. A closer look at that outing shows most of the damage came inside the arc—Mitchell went just 1-for-11 from three.
His three-point prop is set at 3.5 tonight, and I’m siding with the under. Expecting four makes from deep is a big ask, especially for a player who’s already proven he can score in bunches without hitting from outside.
