Jalen Brunson is one of the NBA’s most prolific scorers, but he isn’t widely known for his consistency from beyond the arc.
While he’s not afraid to shoot from three-point range, he strongly favors mid-range attempts.
In fact, 50% of his shots come from mid-range territory, compared to just 30% from deep. His preference makes sense – he converts nearly 50% of his mid-range attempts, showcasing why it’s his comfort zone.
However, Brunson’s rhythm might be disrupted tonight as he faces a tough Memphis Grizzlies defense. The Grizzlies rank 2nd in effective field goal percentage allowed and 4th in opponent three-point field goal percentage. This could make it harder for Brunson to create quality looks, especially from spots where he’s less effective.
Stokastic’s industry-leading NBA DFS projections expect Brunson to make at most two three-pointers tonight. With that in mind, locking him in to stay under 2.5 threes on this prop appears to be a strong play.

Duncan Robinson H/L Than 2.5 3-Pointers Made
Duncan Robinson is attempting an impressive 72% of his shots from beyond the arc, connecting on 38% of those attempts, which ranks him in the 70th percentile among his position group.
Tonight, he faces the Orlando Magic, a team with a solid overall defense but notable struggles in defending the three-point shot. While the Magic allow the fewest three-point attempts in the league, opponents are converting those attempts at a high 39.1% clip, ranking Orlando 27th in three-point field goal percentage allowed.
Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have Robinson knocking down three 3-pointers tonight. At plus odds, this looks like a strong value play.
