Payton Pritchard M/L Than 2.5 3-Pointers Made
Payton Pritchard has erupted for 62 total points over his past two games, largely due to an increase in playing time. He logged 43 minutes in the first game and 32 in the next, benefiting from injuries within the Celtics’ rotation.
However, Boston enters tonight’s marquee matchup against the Lakers with a healthy roster, meaning Pritchard is likely to return to his usual role—playing fewer than 30 minutes per game.
That reduced playing time comes against one of the NBA’s most underrated defenses. The Lakers rank 3rd in opponent three-point field goal percentage this season (35%), and since Luka Dončić’s first game with the team, they’ve improved to 2nd in that category (31.6%).
Additionally, Stokastic’s NBA DFS projections have Pritchard making just two three-pointers tonight, reinforcing the case for taking the under on this prop.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Payton Pritchard Less Than 2.5 3-Pointers Made
Jalen Duren M/L 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
The Detroit Pistons are heading to the Bay to take on the Golden State Warriors. Facing Golden State is always a challenge, not just because of how much you have to run around to defend players like Steph Curry, but also due to their stout defense.
The Warriors enter this matchup ranked 8th in Points Allowed per 100 Possessions and 11th in Defensive Effective Field Goal Percentage. One player who could struggle is Pistons big man Jalen Duren.
Duren’s 15.6% usage rate this season is the lowest of his three-year career, and it’s unlikely to improve against one of the league’s better defenses. He’s averaging around 24 combined points, rebounds, and assists per game, but this matchup doesn’t set up well for him.
With the Pistons likely playing from behind, scoring opportunities for Duren should be limited. That makes his under a strong bet.
DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Jalen Duren Less Than 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
