We’re onto the Coca-Cola 600, the longest Cup Series event of the year. Let’s dive into the top NASCAR matchup and prop bets for Sunday’s (weather permitting) Coca-Cola 600, which include Chase Briscoe and Austin Dillon.

Will Any Surprise Names Finish in the Top 10?
In my view, it’s almost certain that we see at least one surprising name among the top 10 finishers. Last year, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Michael McDowell finished inside the top 10. Harrison Burton also finished 11th, two spots ahead of Ty Dillon. In the 2021 Coca-Cola 600, Austin Dillon and Chris Buescher scored somewhat surprising top-10s. In 2020, Buescher and Christopher Bell, then driving the No. 95 Toyota, got top-10s. Stenhouse and Buescher scored some in 2019, with Corey LaJoie, then driving the No. 32 Ford for Go Fas Racing, finishing 12th.
Although longshots don’t often win the Coca-Cola 600, the extra length of this event adds an element of attrition. Only 23 cars finished last year’s event, and only 16 completed every lap. Accidents, part failures and tire issues can knock drivers out of this event, giving the underdogs a chance to score surprising results. I’ve got a few names worth targeting at their current price for this year’s Coca-Cola 600, largely because of their impressive resumes here in Charlotte and their solid runs at other high-speed intermediate tracks.
Let’s begin with Austin Dillon, a one-time Coca-Cola 600 winner. Dillon, a notoriously conservative driver, crashed out of last year’s event. However, he had strung together consecutive top-10s at the Coke 600 before last year’s mishap. Tyler Reddick, then his teammate, led 19 laps on his way to a sixth-place finish. Reddick would go on to win at Texas Motor Speedway in the fall, Charlotte’s sister track. Richard Childress Racing’s intermediate program has remained reasonably quick this year — Dillon finished 10th at Kansas just a few weeks back. We can buy him at +280 via FanDuel Sportsbook.
Daniel Suarez stands out as another solid option. Although TrackHouse Racing is no stranger to the top 10, Suarez only has four top-10s in 13 starts this year. However, he just put together an impressive run at North Wilkesboro and showed plenty of speed at the comparator tracks. He finished 10th at Las Vegas and 15th at Kansas. His teammate, Ross Chastain, finished 12th and fifth in both events. Suarez looked great early in last year’s Coke 600 before crashing out. Let’s back him to finish the job this year at odds of +120 via Caesars Sportsbook.

I usually like to make a pick in this space, but if the books are giving out free money, why not just pocket the change and call it a day? We’re at BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook for this one.
Chase Briscoe is at +130 to finish ahead of Austin Dillon at BetMGM. Dillon is at +110 to finish ahead of Briscoe at Caesars. That means you can get a literal risk-free wager by getting action on both sides of this market at both books.
If you’re looking on tips for unit structure, if you have $100 and wager $52.5 on Dillon at +110 and $47.5 on Briscoe at +130, you’d profit $10.25 on Dillon and $9.25 on Briscoe. That isn’t life-changing money, but free money is free money. There is a -9.77% hold across these two markets.
