Let’s take the National League as close to even as we can get. Although the American League has been dominant lately, I don’t put much stock in that when attacking tonight’s action, especially since the AL won’t have superstars like Mike Trout or Aaron Judge.
I also love the options the NL will have to close out tonight’s MLB All-Star Game. They can go with the lefty in Josh Hader or any of their several elite righty relievers, and they’ll get a chance to pick their matchups because there probably won’t be many good pinch-hitting options left that deep in the game.
Don’t go nuts with this one, but in a spot where we’re getting close to even money to back the better roster, it’s hard to on the NL.
