Tampa Bay Rays vs. Toronto Blue Jays First Inning Bet

When I started digging around for this NRFI, I was STUNNED when I saw what this NRFI line opened at. Shoutout to bet365 for hanging us a sweetheart of a line at -115. It’s the best odds on this line by quite a lot, so I’d suggest hammering this at bet365 before it’s gone. Not to mention, they just renewed their absurd “Bet $1, Get $365” offer for new s … so it’s a win-win situation.

Toronto sends out Yusei Kikuchi tonight, who has been SOLID on NRFIs this season with a 22-9 record. The Blue Jays are still fighting for positioning, so they’ve got something to play for. This is by far the best year of Kikuchi’s career, upping his strikeout rate (177 K’s in 162.2 IP) and K/BB rate to 3.8 (previous best was 2.6).

Aaron Civale will be looking for a quick bounce-back game after getting rocked by the Angels in his last outing. Despite his last start being horrendous, he’s 18-4 on no run first inning chances, and Toronto is quietly 29th in runs per first inning (ahead of only the Mets). Bet you didn’t expect that, did ya?

Vegas has the over/under set at 7.5, which we always adore when looking for a NRFI bet. Let’s get it done.

Minnesota Twins vs. Colorado Rockies First Inning Bet

Well, friends, we’re rooting for fun in this one. Especially when we can get a YRFI in Coors field at -135 or better.

Our old friend Ty Blach is back on the bump at home for the Rockies tonight. Things you absolutely love to see. The lefty is 9-3 on NRFIs this season, but I’m calling that “fake good.” The dude has an opponent batting average of .362 in Coors Field this year and has been sun running in wiggling out of first innings. With the he’s giving up, I really want to know how the hell he’s allowed ONLY three home runs in Colorado this season. Whatever voodoo magic he’s working at home has to come to an end, and I think it will happen tonight in the top of the first.

Speaking of home runs, Joe Ryan and his 29 home runs allowed will be serving ’em up for the Twins in this game. Ryan’s NRFI numbers are actually pretty good, rocking a 22-6 record this season. However, as we know, Coors field just “hits different,” as the kids say. He’s never pitched in Coors Field before, and I always love targeting a pitcher on their first start in Colorado. Especially when they’re as blow-up prone as Ryan is.

The total in this game is 11.5, so we’re expecting LOTS of fun. Let’s make sure we get it in the top of the first for a no-sweat YRFI.

DraftKings threw us a bone to mitigate some of the ridiculously juiced lines on NRFIs and YRFIs today, putting out a 50% profit boost. It’ll be one of the last we get for the MLB season, so we have to take advantage of it. Firing up the Rays-Blue Jays NRFI and Twins-Rockies YRFI with this boost pumps it all the way up to +302!
