The Netherlands are obviously the overwhelming favorites here, with moneyline odds of -20,000 and -170 odds on the -3.5 spread. There is absolutely no doubt the Dutch are great and still have the incentive of qualification and first place dangling in front of them. Part of this prediction is also based on the performance of goalkeeper Tran Thi Kim Thanh. China-England Prediction
England is in a bit of a peculiar spot with this match against China. After winning its first two matches at the Women’s World Cup, now is the perfect time for rest and rotation. However, first place has not been secured, and there is a real opportunity it could fail to qualify should it lose and Denmark win, both by large enough margins to flip the goal difference.
In turn, expect a really strong England team and performance. It will need it too because it has a very poor record against China, going just 1-1-3 against them in all competitions. Both countries have very strong final-day records in the group stages, and obviously their qualification records speak for themselves.
One thing to note is that this group has been extremely bland in of goal scoring; all of the four matches so far have ended 1-0.
