NBA Parlay Picks Today: +454 Bet for Wednesday
Victor Wembanyama Double-Double & OKC ML (NBA Player Prop)
As I emphatically said in the intro of this Pulitzer-winning article, we’re only putting our hard-earned coin down on players who will respect our money.
The first man up to the task: Victor Wembanyama.
We’re looking for a Wemby double-double tonight
Wemby has been smashing lately, and even more encouraging is that he is playing just about 28 minutes per night, with the chance of getting to 30 if things break right. Obviously, more minutes means more production.
Yes, this is another clash of Wemby vs. Chet Holmgren. Is that the reason I’m firing this up? Well, it isn’t NOT the reason I’m firing it up.
But, mostly it’s because of two things: 1. Oklahoma City gets MURKED on the boards; 2. Wemby has been on a smash path lately.
In fact, in the previous meeting, Wemby grabbed 14 rebounds in 28 minutes, but scored only 8 points. However, that was early in the season, and I think things have changed drastically for the rookie unicorn. He’s only failed to score 10+ points in three games this season, and despite Chet’s great defense, we’re going to see Wemby shoot A LOT.
The second part of this little mini same-game parlay is Thunder moneyline. Yes, they just had a close call last night against Portland and are on a back-to-back. But, it feels like the books are getting it twisted here by only having OKC as 7-point favorites.
Us on the other than? We ain’t gettin’ it twisted here, the Thunder are the better team, and are going to win this game.
Jalen Duren 10+ Rebounds (NBA Player Prop)
There are only a handful of players that I would consider a narcotic for me when it comes to betting. This guy? Yeah. He’s one of them.
Jalen Duren has been a cash cow for me this season in both rebound props AND double-double props.
The first bet that stood out to me this morning was Duren’s rebounding prop against a Charlotte team that gives up the second-most rebounds to opposing centers this season (almost 17 per game).
Not only that, but Nick Richards is legitimately questionable heading into the game tonight, which would shrink the frontcourt even more for the Hornets.
I’m absolutely in love with the value we’re getting on Duren’s traditional rebound prop tonight (11.5), but we’re going to take the 10+ rebound alternate line since we have the luxury of the DraftKings Sportsbook boost.
And, if you’re feeling really spicy, ladder those Duren rebounds up in a separate slip. It could be a super smash night for him.
Heat ML vs Grizzlies (NBA Betting Pick)
The Miami Heat made some headlines yesterday by trading Kyle Lowry away to Charlotte for Terry Rozier. They’re going to make some headlines tonight by being the last leg to cash our parlay tonight.
Tonight, they take on the Memphis Grizzlies, who are without … pretty much EVERYONE but Jaren Jackson Jr. and we’re going to take advantage of an extremely injured team.
Miami is only 19-23-1 against the spread this season, and have been a bit whack-a-mole-ish. So, we’re removing the spread here and just taking the Heat on the moneyline.
